I am Mewis. In this program, I take you through various modalities that have dramatically changed my life over the years. Or, rather, what I'm super excited about. Cool things that I want to share with other men in a relaxed setting. Breathwork is the common thread but the goal of this training is you. The perfect balance between feeling your full masculine power and at the same time the softness to connect. My own life experience combined with deep knowledge of breathwork, cold training and meditation.
The 4 required components of optimization
This track focuses on self-optimization for men. What that looks like is different for everyone but only in a healthy body, with a healthy mind, in touch with your feelings, and with a clarity about your place in the world can there be real performance. In this training we work on the following components:

What to expect
A small group of no more than 6 men. This allows the sessions to be interactive with plenty of attention to your personal process and plenty of room for body work during the sessions.
We meet in 5 3-hour sessions. Here the emphasis is on relaxation, sharing themes and experiencing the effects of breathwork for yourself. About 1/4 of the time we will use for covering theory.
The sessions include the option of using a microdose of truffle to enhance the learning experience. This is a barely perceptible dose of a psychedelic substance that has been scientifically shown to increase focus and learning ability.
The sessions take place in my practice in The Hague. A pleasant, warm space within walking distance of forest, dunes, beach and sea.
You use the intervening periods to continue to work on your themes and optimize your health through exercises. You will receive exercises each week with different goals: relaxation, more energy, focus and concentration, balance.
You will have support from me personally during the 9-week period via messages, WhatsApp, email or online calls.
The power of this training
1. Breathwork
Really, your breath is connected to everything. You will learn how the breath relates to your nervous system and how breathing techniques can help you improve your health, direct your energy and perform better. Biohacking 2024
2. In-depth sessions
An important part of the meetings we use for deep breath work + body work. This is a powerful way to release emotions and negative experiences stored in the body and remove blockages
3. Ice Bath
The cold as ruthless teacher. Unrelenting and golden. How do you handle it when the going gets really tough? Mindset combined with a whole laundry list of health benefits.
4. Accountability
Positive change always requires commitment. Often we know what we should be doing but it's just damn hard to bring it up on our own. The structure of the program gives you a powerful opportunity to truly create a new life in 9 weeks.
5. Microdosing
In this program there is the possibility of using a microdose of truffle. This has been scientifically proven to positively influence focus, learning ability and creativity. Equally important, it helps you get out of your head and enables you to see through limiting patterns.
6. Men
The power of coming together with other men. The recognition we find in listening to each other. Feeling that we are not alone. Brotherhood. We work with a small group where there will be plenty of room to be able to bring yourself in to learn from each other.
Who is this training for?
Your current life feels safe and comfortable, but with it, boring and predictable. You lack the passion and fire in your life.
You would like to create peace and relaxation in your life and feel that this requires more than just some lifestyle changes.
You are in your head a lot (brooding/thinking) and have lost touch with your body and feelings.
You lack real direction and direction in your life. You know you have much more to offer, but you have no idea how to harness it or bring it out.
You carry all kinds of things with you: old wounds, unprocessed emotions, traumas, blockages and limiting beliefs.
You seek distraction and numbing to avoid feeling. You have tried many things to feel better, but always end up in the same unhelpful patterns. In your head you know it all too well, but somewhere you feel that the real change is not to be had in that area.
You feel the need to connect with other men in a way you don't easily find at work, at the pub or at the sports club.
You are ready to take responsibility and take on things ín yourself.
You realize that there is no quick fix for your challenges, and you are willing to embark on an in-depth, long-term journey. What's more, you prefer something that offers real staying power, rather than separate training or courses.
Breathwork
Breathwork is getting more and more attention, and for good reason. With the increasing amount of stress-related complaints, there is a growing need to relax, to get "out of your head" and feel the connection with the body again.
But today there are so many breathing techniques, methods and protocols that many people can't see the forest for the trees. In I take you through the basics of breathwork and the nervous system to find simple applications of your own breath. You will learn the importance of functional breathing and receive exercises and tool to simply live better.
Microdosing
This program includes the opportunity to use a microdose of truffle to enhance the learning experience. A microdose is a barely perceptible dose of a psychedelic substance that has been scientifically shown to increase focus and learning ability.
Psilocybin, the active ingredient in truffles, increases our neuroplasticity, which is the brain's ability to adapt. In addition, new connections are formed between different brain regions, while the "default mode network" - responsible for standard routines and patterns - is less active. Either your current "self" relaxes for a while, giving your "desired self" room to develop.
I work with a psilocybin truffle that is relatively mild, completely safe and 100% legal here in the Netherlands.
This is completely optional, some will want to participate in it and others will not. It is just an available tool.
The Ice Bath
Possibly you've known this for a long time: An ice bath offers countless benefits to your overall health. By regularly taking an ice bath, you not only train your body to deal with cold stimuli, but also stimulate blood flow and strengthen your immune system. Moreover, it promotes the production of endorphins, which can contribute to a positive mood and stress reduction. In other words, you just feel fitter and better.
It can be difficult to bring yourself to prepare your body for this all by yourself. This program gives you the opportunity to take on this adventure as well. In a safe setting where you can use each other to just really do it!
Also this part is completely optional, some will want to participate in it and others will not. Please indicate this in advance.
Meet the archetypes within yourself
In this training we work with the four masculine archetypes as proposed by Robert Moore, a Jungian psychologist, and Douglas Gillette.
Archetypes are behavioral blueprints. An archetype is, as it were, a package of human traits that under the surface of everyday life, stripped of nuances and personal variations, always takes the same form. These four archetypes reflect four different aspects of the male psyche. Awareness about these archetypes enables you to recognize and harness the power and qualities of these archetypes in yourself.

You certainly can. I also offer a customized program where we meet at times most convenient for you and the individual sessions generally take less time.

Not 1 technique or method. I am trained as a Breathwork Masterclass Instructor and thus have the broadest possible certified scientific knowledge of breathwork. I am also certified as a Connected Breathwork Coach.
I also have extensive experience with The Oxygen Advantaxe, Dan Brulé, WHM and Pranayama.
In this master class I bring together the best of all these worlds. A unique and complete offering that you will not find anywhere else.

Because the group dynamics are different in a company with only men compared to a mixed group (with men and women). This also gives us the opportunity to go deeper into themes that are predominantly for men.
I also offer a more technical breathwork workout where women are equally welcome.
