Plant medicine ceremony

Mushrooms and truffles have been used as medicine for centuries. Psilocybin, the active ingredient, opens the doors to your subconscious, expands your mind and gives new insights about yourself and the world.

A truffle ceremony can be exciting, which is why we offer the best possible preparation in a safe and warm environment. Our ceremonies take place in small groups, with professional guidance and plenty of personal attention. Think a crackling wood stove, live music and a space where you feel completely at ease.

Provide the best possible guidance

A plant medicine ceremony is a potentially profound and transformative experience in which a safe setting and proper guidance are important elements.

I lead the ceremonies with my partner Janneke. As Master of Ceremony at the renowned Spinoza.co, Janneke has led more than 100 group ceremonies and retreats, supporting thousands of people from all over the world in recent years.

Together Janneke and I combine a wealth of experience and create a special dynamic. We both have great expertise in guiding deep processes and offer support with musical guidance, loving presence, process work and body work.

Why plant medicine

Plant medicines help you experience life from a new perspective, beyond thoughts, beliefs and patterns. For thousands of years they have been ritually used by indigenous peoples for healing and consciousness expansion.

Today they support life questions, deeper connection, emotional processing and breaking patterns.

Our ceremonies work with the 100% legal truffle, which contains psilocybin. Research since the 1950s shows its positive effects on behavior, cognition and spirituality.

Psilocybin, the active ingredient in truffles, increases our neuroplasticity, which is the brain's ability to adapt. In addition, new connections are formed between different brain regions, while the "default mode network" - responsible for standard routines and patterns - is less active. Either your current "self" relaxes for a while, giving your "desired self" room to develop.

A ceremony can help you to:

  • Live more from your heart and with confidence

  • Getting in touch with your life mission

  • Break restrictive or unhealthy patterns

  • Making a shift in your life

  • To experience who you are in essence

  • Gain clarity about a life choice

  • Processing or facing old pain

  • Gain a new perspective

Preparation

Good preparation is essential. That's why we offer a 1:1 online intake where we can learn more about who you are and where your needs lie.

There is also a preparatory online workshop where you will meet the group and learn more about how to best prepare for the ceremony.

This is what a day ceremony looks like

A ceremony consists of 3 parts:

2

Ceremony

During the ceremony, you go on your own inner journey. This can be a visual experience, receiving images or memories, for example. On the mental layer, you may gain insight into conditioning. Your experience can also be very physical, where you experience all kinds of sensations in your body, or just an emotional or deeply spiritual experience. Usually it is a combination. You may trust in the wisdom of the medicine. The ceremony is accompanied by (live) music.

3

Integration

Integration is about making space. And often about taking action. A ceremony without integration is just "an experience. The real difference is in 'picking up' the insights and lessons and actually doing something with them. That takes time, attention and sometimes discipline. We support you in this process, so that a ceremony can really impact your life.

Integration, integration, integration...

A ceremony can be a beautiful, deep and healing experience. It can feel like a whole lifetime in just a few hours. Yet it is important to realize that what really matters is how you move on from here. How do you give meaning to what you have experienced?

How will you integrate the insights you have received during your journey into your daily life? Do you dare to change the behaviors that you have seen are no longer serving you? Can you deal lovingly with the connections you value and learn to listen to yourself better?

Without integration, the valuable lessons of a ceremony can fade and remain merely a "special experience." However, by investing time and energy in integration, these insights can lead to lasting transformation.

Integration is the process of understanding and applying the lessons from your experience. It takes time, dedication and proper structure to weave these insights into your daily life.

To support you in this, we plan a 1:1 integration call the week after the ceremony. You will also receive a special Integration Guide with practical tools and insights. This way you can use the wisdom of the plant medicine optimally and anchor the transformation permanently in your life.

  • Yes. We work with truffles is 100% legal in the Netherlands.

  • Item descriptionA plant medicine journey can be an intense experience. In it, you may encounter pieces that you have pushed away or have not wanted to experience. Often referred to as a "bad trip," by people who take high doses recreationally and get into a challenging piece without the safe environment there to deal with it. Because you are in a safe space, you can generally bear these deep and sometimes painful experiences just fine. In fact, this is often very healing. We are there to support in your process.

  • We determine the dosage based on a personal conversation. The height depends on intention, sensitivity and experience. There is room during the ceremony to increase the dosage slightly.

  • Immediately after a ceremony, you cannot participate in traffic. We therefore recommend that you travel by public transportation or arrange to be picked up.
